Cthonian – The Earth Devourer portrays the immense subterranean horror as it coils around the shattered remains of an ancient cyclopean temple. Its colossal segmented body crushes impossible stone architecture while its circular maw, ringed with countless inward-pointing teeth, stands ready to consume everything that dares remain upon the surface.

Inspired by the terrifying burrowing entities of the Cthulhu Mythos, this artwork emphasizes overwhelming mass rather than speed or aggression.
