H. P. Lovecraft

Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890–1937) was an American writer of weird fiction, poetry, criticism and letters. His distinctive horror connects intimate human discoveries with immense, indifferent histories of the universe. The Cthulhu Mythos grew out of his stories and exchanges with other writers, then developed through publishing, fiction, film, games and critical responses after his death.
