The Esoteric Order of Dagon

The Esoteric Order of Dagon draws its inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft’s The Shadow Over Innsmouth, exploring one of the most iconic stories of the Cthulhu Mythos. Along the isolated New England coastline, the decaying town of Innsmouth hides a terrible secret—an ancient pact between humanity and the mysterious beings that dwell beneath the waves.

The song follows the rise of the Esoteric Order of Dagon, whose followers willingly embrace the old covenant in exchange for prosperity, forbidden knowledge and the promise of a new existence beneath the sea. What begins as whispered prayers gradually becomes complete devotion to powers far older than mankind.

Combining relentless dark metal, ritual atmosphere and an ever-present sense of dread, Dagon captures the transformation of an isolated fishing town into a place where the ocean is no longer a source of life, but a gateway to something ancient and unknowable. Every wave, every chant and every passing tide draws the faithful closer to their inevitable destiny.
