Mi-Go – The Harvester of Minds presents the mysterious beings from Yuggoth as something between an alien surgeon, a sacred executioner and an insectoid god. Towering above a lone human figure, the creature unfolds its vast wings while delicate surgical limbs and impossible instruments hang beneath its body, ready to preserve what it considers most valuable: the human mind.
Inspired by The Whisperer in Darkness, the artwork draws on one of the most disturbing ideas in the Cthulhu Mythos—the removal of living brains and their preservation inside mechanical cylinders for transport across the stars. To the Mi-Go, consciousness is not sacred. It is material, data and cargo.
Created in a highly detailed black-and-white engraved style, the design combines monumental scale, extreme contrast and intricate linework. The result is a severe, almost religious image of alien intelligence operating far beyond human morality.
