Duane W. Rimel (1915–1996) was an American writer, poet and participant in early fantasy fandom. His correspondence with Lovecraft records literary mentoring, while The Tree on the Hill and The Disinterment occupy a debated place in the collaborative bibliography. His visual work, poetry and later recollections also contributed to the preservation and public image of Lovecraft’s circle.
